You may register for LABBX 2008 as:
A: Exhibitor :: view contract (pdf) ::
To become a LABBX exhibitor, please view and download the attached exhibitor file, provide your name or the name and address of your business and contact information, and state via snail mail to LABBX that you agree to the following contract. Send your agreement to: P.O. Box 44600, Los Angeles, CA 90044.
Payment for the entrance fee of $100.00 must be in the form of a check or money order must be sent to P.O. Box 44600, Los Angeles, CA 90044 made payable to LABBX or the Los Angeles Black Book Expo before May 24, 2008 (all checks must have cleared the respective bank for official LABBX entrance).

B: Panelist
To register as a panelist, a) one must register as an exhibitor to have first priority. b) Should one choose not to be an exhibitor, a fee of $25.00 will be applied, however, the panelist will be prohibited from selling his/her product outside the discussion. A book signing table for all participants will be set up prior to the next panel.
Please view and download the attached exhibitor file, provide your name or the name and address of your business and contact information. Send a notice to LABBX. Please send additional information to labbex@gmail.com regarding your literary or artistic focus (fiction, non-fiction, spoken word, etc.), a short biographical statement, and how we can contact you (e-mail, telephone, mailing address, website, etc.). Upon receipt, a response will be sent to you via e-mail. Participation criteria are based on the relevancy of your work to our mission and the time-space limitations of the event. Inclusion decisions are made by the LABBX executive circle.

The Los Angeles Black Book Expo celebrates its fourth year in 2008. This promises to be one of the biggest community affairs of the summer. The LABBX seeks to serve a diverse population, undivided by gender, ethnicity, age, income and geography, especially Africans and African Americans and friends of the African and African American community who are involved in and concerned with the importance of reading and education.
Various activities will be held throughout the expo that will enhance literary knowledge and encourage others to pursue their dreams through the written word. Your generous contribution will ensure the success of our expo and many more to come. We offer affordable sponsorship packages as detailed in the downloadable PDF file.
